Victoria Rose Sampson

After a successful and award winning 40-year career as a Supervising Sound Editor with over 200 feature film credits, Vickie has won an Emmy, 4 Golden Reel Awards and has worked on Oscar winning films for sound. (“The River” and “Speed.”) Retiring early, Vickie now devotes her time to directing.

She was one of twelve women (out of 600) selected to the Directing Workshop for Women from AFI 6th cycle.  She has directed 7 short films, over 15 commercials and PSAs. 

Vickie created and taught/teaches post-production and filmmaking at USC, AFI, UCLA, Cal State LA, NYFA, Video Symphony, Ball State University and presents workshops on sound at Film Festivals.

She is a member of the Motion Picture Editors Guild since 1973, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences since 1988 in the Sound Branch, the Motion Picture Sound Editors, the Alliance of Women Directors and Women in Media. 

Vickie’s award-winning short films, Click Three Times, Shelby’s Vacation, You Drive Me Crazy and Reflections have played in numerous film festivals.  In 2019, Vickie won Best Director at the Broad Humor Film Festival for her film You Drive Me Crazy and Best Comedy Short Film at the Cannes Independent Film Festival.

Wendy Fishman

A producer and television executive for over 25 years, Wendy Fishman started her career as one of the producers who launched The Movietime cable channel. Movietime would become E! Entertainment Television where she was named the Executive Producer for most studio-based shows. 

Wendy became the East Coast Director of Daytime for CBS. Her executive duties included overseeing the daytime dramas, As The World Turns and Guiding Light, where she was an integral part of the creative process including contributing award-winning storylines. After five years as a Network Executive, Ms. Fishman transitioned into writing and joined the staff of Guiding Light as a breakdown writer. 

Her career in television as an independent producer and writer includes projects with the SyFy Channel, Fox Television, Mandalay Bay Entertainment, Wilshire Studio and Comcast Entertainment Group. Wendy was tapped to write numerous screenplays for film and television including, Noah’s Room, Pixie and You Don’t Know Me, a film based on the true-life story of a successful businessman’s struggle with bipolar disease.  

Ms. Fishman’s short film script, The Dead Never Sleep (originally titled, Small Whispers), was a semi-finalist in 2016’s Screencraft’s Short Screenplay competition which became the basis of her feature script. Her short film, You Drive Me Crazy has been selected by numerous film festivals including HollyShorts, Toronto Comedy FF, The Woman’s International Film Festival where it was named Best In Show and Best Comedy Short at the Cannes Independent Film Festival.  Recently, Wendy wrote and produced the short film Reflections which won several awards including Best Drama and Best Latin Film.
